02 June 2025 marks the first anniversary of completing the 4-day training program with MoToLyfe. The year has been nothing like before…

Having driven Cycle, Mopid, M50, Vespa throughout the growing years, just made things easier to grasp on and off the ranch. This helped maneuvering through traffic, reacting to “Oh Shit” moments and overcoming the fear of speed.
Once back on two wheels, with support from family, the journey began with the first outstation ride to Bajkhet , Uttarakhand (~350 km). An early start saved the riders from one of the worst rains NCR has ever seen, so much so that the tribe rode non-stop through the rain for 3-4 hours. The rookie within had no clue how to react to the situation, except for the gut feeling to follow and adapt as per the people around. This was the ride that took away the fear of rain.

Next came Nelong/Harshil (~500 km), challenge this time was the distance, and the last part of the hill ride on a moonless night. This was not the end for the way back the tribe drove for ~22 Hours – the longest duration we have ever driven. This tested the endurance of every rider who rode that day.
The initial days were marked by anxiety as I tiptoed on the Triumph Scrambler, adapting to the bike, struggling with motorcycle gear, the restriction of riding boots, and the claustrophobia of a helmet. But I did not give myself time to think any of these through; instead, I grasped every opportunity

Over the whole year have been Omnipresent, can proudly say, I have not missed any bike ride by MoToLyfe.

Bike Trainer

Over the whole year have been Omnipresent, can proudly say, I have not missed any bike ride by MoToLyfe.

As I was settling into the newfound comfort of touring, came the opportunity to train on the famous Jaisalmer golden dunes. As they say, ignorance is bliss; without any understanding of what I’m stepping into, I joined the training program by Triumph India. Surrounded by people from various backgrounds, experts among the experts, with decades of off-roading experience, the rookie was back alive. This brief time gave me an insight that there is more to bike riding than the tarmac roads.

Suddenly, the future targets had changed.

Been after Amit’s life since then to have more and more trail experiences integrated into the busy calendar of MoToLyfe. And he is one of the biggest supporters of continuous learning. Anything you ask, anything you need, he has a full bag of guidance, insights, and most of all amazing STORIES. Perfect Mentor!!!

It has been a year, but as I mentioned, nothing like any before, and I am sure, the Next one will be nothing like this one either!
